Who We Are

The mission is simple:
Help people reconnect to themselves and to each other using color as the language of expression.

Paint Me After Dark (PMAD) was created by Nikita Burks-Hale, a creative facilitator, speaker, and founder of Headphones and Crayons. Rooted in color, consent, creativity, and connection, PMAD brings adults into a world where expression is embodied and art becomes communal.

Nikita blends guided prompts, art, curated music, and luminous body paint to create an atmosphere of intimacy, curiosity, and joy.
